Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains what data Root Telemarketing LLC ("we," "us") collects through the call tracking and telephony platform (the "Service"), why, and how it's protected.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), and role within your organization.
- Call & messaging data — phone numbers, timestamps, duration, direction, and status of calls and text messages made or received through the Service.
- Call recordings — audio recordings, only for numbers/campaigns where recording is enabled, stored via our telephony provider and only playable to authorized users on your account.
- Contact and lead data — information you enter or that is automatically created from inbound calls (names, phone numbers, notes, pipeline stage).
- Technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and system logs generated as you use the Service (for example, login activity, for security purposes).
- Billing records — wallet transactions, invoices, and payment history associated with your account.
3. How We Use Information
We use this information to operate the Service (routing and logging calls, generating reports and invoices, enforcing Do Not Call and account status rules), to secure accounts (fraud detection, login throttling, audit logging), to communicate with you about your account, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Call Recording Disclosure
Where recording is enabled on a number or campaign, calls through that number are recorded and stored for later playback by authorized users on the account. As described in our Terms of Service, obtaining any consent required by law before recording a call is the account holder's responsibility.
5. Third-Party Sub-Processors
To deliver the Service, certain data is shared with:
- Twilio — carries calls and SMS, stores call recordings, and provides SIP trunking infrastructure.
- DNC Boss — used to check phone numbers against Do Not Call registries before outbound calls, where enabled.
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the specific function they support.
6. Data Security
The platform is designed with security best practices, including: passwords stored as salted one-way hashes; all traffic served over HTTPS; role-based access control so each account only sees its own data; optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) on user accounts; login throttling against repeated failed attempts; and an audit log of sensitive administrative actions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain account, call, and billing data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion of specific data as described below, subject to records we're required to keep.
8. Your Choices & Rights
You can review and update your account information from within the Service, and can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting sale@test11.dataposting.online. Some data (such as billing records) may need to be retained even after a deletion request, where required by law.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Data
Depending on where you and your telephony provider operate, data may be processed or stored outside your own country. By using the Service you consent to that transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
